Facility Rental Information

The Allen Park School District promotes community use of school facilities by properly organized and responsible groups during the hours when school is not is session.

District facilities may be rented to community groups only if approved in advance by the Community Services Office.  Contact Elizabeth Lee at (313) 827-2664 or email lee@appublicschools.com for more information.

The Allen Park Public Schools is comprised of three elementary schools, a middle school, a high school, and a community school.  Recent renovations at each building included infrastructure improvements and visually inviting spaces, including classrooms, media centers, and gymnasiums.  The newly expanded pool at the Allen Park High School includes six full-sized lanes and a diving well, along with improved lighting and tile work.  The 650-seat auditorium is a state-of-the-art facility that is available to host a wide variety of events.

All requests for facility usage should be submitted on the appropriate application form to the Community Services Office at least two weeks prior to the date requested.  Upon availability and approval, the permit will be issued.

All programs must have appropriate, adequate adult supervision of everyone involved in the activity.  The supervisor is required to enforce facility rules and regulations and applicable state laws and local ordinances.

* Charges will be determined on the basis of established rental rates, projected personnel, and equipment and supply costs.  Rental fees vary according to the space being utilized, number of times used, and other specific needs.
